GET /eligible-rails
Resolve the rails eligible for an account being created with a given kind and currency, plus the corridor metadata an account-create form needs. Render only the rails it returns.
Optionally authenticated. Without credentials the response lists every rail the currency can settle over: the same catalog as GET /currencies, narrowed to the corridor. With an Api-Key header (or a dashboard session), the list is further narrowed to the rails your organization is approved for, so a picker built from it only offers options that account and quote creation will actually accept. Credentials that are present but invalid are rejected with 401, never treated as anonymous.
Org selection works like every org-scoped endpoint: an API key is bound to its org, and a dashboard session picks one with ?org=<id>, required when you belong to more than one org.
Query parameters
| Param | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
kind | "fiat" | "crypto" | yes | Kind of account being created. |
currency | string | yes | Currency code, e.g. INR. |
bank_country | string | no | ISO country of the bank (external fiat). Sharpens fiat_shape and holder_address_required. |
holder_country | string | no | ISO country of the account holder. |
Response 200
{
"rails": [
"imps"
],
"fiat_shape": "in_ifsc",
"holder_address_required": false
}| Field | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
rails | string[] | Rails the account may be created over, sorted alphabetically. Empty when the currency is unknown, or, on authenticated calls, when your organization has no approved rails for it. |
fiat_shape | string | null | Bank-detail layout the create request must use (see external fiat requirements). null for crypto, for currencies with no external-fiat shape, and for currencies whose shape depends on the chosen rail (BRL: PIX vs TED). |
holder_address_required | boolean | true when the holder's full street address must be collected: always for some corridors, otherwise when bank_country and holder_country differ. |
Errors: 400 (missing kind / currency; or a dashboard session with multiple org memberships and no ?org=), 401 (credentials present but invalid), 404 (?org= is not an org you belong to).
Example
Anonymous, the full catalog set for the currency:
curl "$SEISMIC_ORCHESTRATION_URL/v0/eligible-rails?kind=fiat¤cy=INR"Authenticated, narrowed to your organization's approved rails:
curl "$SEISMIC_ORCHESTRATION_URL/v0/eligible-rails?kind=fiat¤cy=INR" \
-H "Api-Key: $SEISMIC_ORCHESTRATION_API_KEY"
